📍 Chinchero: a visit to an artisanal community where you’ll learn about the ancient craft of weaving with alpaca wool, dyed with natural dyes and woven with centuries of patience
📍 Moray: Marvel at its circular terraces, the ancient Inca agricultural laboratory that harnessed the microclimate to cultivate sacred plants
📍 Maras Salt Flats: includes more than 3,000 salt pans which have remained active since pre-Inca times, glistening in the sun like mirrors of the past

  • We’ll have some free time to take in the surroundings, take photos, and connect with the energy of the place.
  • Return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch, then back to Cusco (approx. 5:00 p.m.).
  • In the evening,departure by tourist sleeper bus to Puerto Maldonado (10:00 p.m.),equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable overnight trip.

  • At dawn, our team will be waiting to give you a warm welcome with a refreshing tropical fruit juice and take you to your eco-friendly bungalow surrounded by nature.
  • Once you’ve settled in, we’ll set out on an introductory hike through the jungle, where you’ll see exotic plants, colorful insects, and birds typical of the Amazon rainforest. In the afternoon, get your adrenaline pumping on our adventure course, which includes a suspension bridge and a zip line through the jungle canopy.
  • After lunch, we boarded a motorboat on the Madre de Dios River to watch the Amazonian sunset, a natural spectacle of golden hues and reflections on the water.
  • As night falls, we’ll set out on a nighttime river safari in search of caimans, capybaras, and nocturnal birds, experiencing the jungle at its finest.

  • At dawn, we will travel downstream for an hour to enter the Tambopata National Reserve.
  • From the pier, we’ll set out on a 3-kilometer hike through the forest, spotting monkeys, tropical birds, and giant spiders.
  • We will arrive at the majestic Lake Sandoval (300 meters above sea level), one of the most beautiful lakes in Peru, where we will take a rowboat to explore its lush biodiversity: piranhas, turtles, herons, butterflies, and giant river otters, an iconic species facing extinction.
    After lunch at the lodge, you’ll have time to relax before your return. At 8:00 PM, we’ll take you to the terminal for your return trip to Cusco (bus at 9:00 PM).
