Itinerary

  • Embark on a unique journey that connects two magical worlds: Lake Titicaca, the cradle of Andean legends, and the Salar de Uyuni, the largest and most breathtaking salt flat on the planet. Experience landscapes that seem unreal, vibrant cultures, and sunsets that will take your breath away.
  • At 9:00 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and take you to the bus station.
  • At 10:00 p.m., we will board the overnight tour bus to Puno, which features reclining seats for a comfortable ride.
  • We will arrive in Puno around 5:00 a.m., where our staff will meet you and take you to a hotel to enjoy breakfast and freshen up before the tour.
  • At 7:30 a.m., we will set sail on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
  • Our first stop will be at the Uros Floating Islands, where a local family will show you their traditions, their reed huts, and their way of life on the water.
  • We will continue on to Taquile Island, famous for its textiles, which have been recognized by UNESCO. We will have lunch with a local family and explore the main square and viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the lake.
  • We will return to Puno around 4:00 p.m.
  • Hotel accommodations in Puno.
  • At 5:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station to board the tourist bus to La Paz.
    You’ll arrive around 2:30 p.m., where our team will be waiting to take you to a hostel (for day use), where you can rest and shower before the next leg of the trip.
  • In the evening, at 8:00 p.m., we will take you to the bus station to board the La Paz–Uyuni tourist bus , which is equipped with reclining seats and heating.

📌 This tour can also start directly from Cusco one day earlier, covering the Cusco–Puno–La Paz–Uyuni route without any stops.

  • Arrival in Uyuni around 5:30 a.m. Our staff will meet you and take you to a local café for breakfast and to get ready for the tour.
  • Between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m., the adventure through the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni begins.

  • The tour ends around 7:00 p.m., after which you’ll have some free time to have dinner in Uyuni before boarding your bus back to La Paz.
  • We will arrive in La Paz at approximately 6:00 a.m., where you will transfer to the return tour bus to Puno.
  • Estimated arrival in Puno at 4:00 p.m., where our team will be waiting to take you to your hotel or rest stop.

  • A sun hat and a wool cap: the weather varies from intense heat to extreme cold, depending on the time of day and altitude.
  • Polarized sunglasses: a must-have for protecting your eyes from the glare off the salt flats, especially in Uyuni.
  • Sunscreen and lip balm: the sun is very strong at high altitudes, even on cloudy days.
  • Warm coat and windbreaker: nighttime temperatures can drop as low as -10 °C.
  • Warm gloves and socks: a must-have for mornings in the highlands.
  • Hiking shoes or waterproof boots: comfortable and durable, ideal for short hikes and wet conditions.
  • Hand sanitizer and personal hygiene products.
  • Reusable water bottle and energy snacks (nuts, bars, cookies).
  • Swimsuit and small towel: in case you want to enjoy the hot springs along the Altiplano route.
  • A camera or cell phone with a good battery (and extra batteries, since some accommodations don't have a steady power supply).
