• The day starts early, according to the scheduled train departure time. We’ll begin with the transfer from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes), where we’ll board the tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes.
• Upon arrival, we’ll get ready to experience the highlight of the trip: a visit to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
• We’ll board the bus that will take us to the citadel (tour subject to availability), traveling along a spectacular route surrounded by mist-covered mountains and lush Andean vegetation. Once in Machu Picchu, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the main areas of the sanctuary, exploring agricultural terraces, ceremonial temples, plazas, and viewpoints that reflect the grandeur of the Inca civilization.
• The guided tour is private for groups of two or more. If you are traveling alone, the tour will take place in a small group of up to five passengers.
