Salar de Uyuni: A Night Under the Stars - Bolivia

Itinerary

  • At 3:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up at your hotel to begin a magical experience under one of the most breathtaking skies on the planet. We’ll head to a strategic spot within the Salar de Uyuni, where the silence, the crisp air, and the vastness of the landscape will envelop you from the very first moment.
  • Once you’re in the heart of the salt flat, you’ll have the chance to gaze at the star-filled night sky and enjoy the natural spectacle that transforms this place into a mirror of the universe. The complete absence of light pollution means that every constellation, planet, and spark of the Milky Way is reflected on the white blanket of salt.
  • During the rainy season (December through March), the salt flat is covered with a thin layer of water, creating a mirror-like effect—a unique phenomenon that will make you feel as if you’re walking among the stars.
  • After this heavenly experience, we will wait for dawn to break, when the first rays of the sun paint the horizon in shades of gold and pink, revealing the true grandeur of the Bolivian highlands.
  • The tour ends around 7:00 a.m., and we’ll take you back in comfort to your hotel, the airport, or the Uyuni bus station, whichever you prefer.
