Itinerary

  • The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco starting at 4:00 a.m. (by prior arrangement). If you are staying outside the historic center, a nearby meeting point will be arranged.
  • We’ll enjoy breakfast in Cusipata before continuing on to the district of Qehue, home to the legendary Inca Bridge of Q’eswachaka, woven entirely from ichu (Andean straw). Every year, local communities rebuild it by hand, keeping alive an Inca tradition that dates back more than 500 years.
  • We’ll have time to cross the bridge, take in the scenery, snap some photos, and learn about its history from our guide. Then we’ll visit a natural overlook to admire the high-Andean lakes and their surroundings.
  • We’ll wrap up with lunch in Cusipata before heading back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m. after a day filled with culture, nature, and Inca heritage.
  • Spend the night in Cusco.
