Itinerary
- We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Puno at 5:00 a.m. and take you to the bus station , where you’ll board the tourist bus to La Paz.
During the trip, you’ll enjoy the Altiplano landscapes and a spectacular view of Lake Titicaca. - Upon your arrival in La Paz (around 2:30 p.m.), our staff will be waiting to take you to a hostel (for day use) where you can rest, take a shower, and get ready for the next leg of the trip.
- In the evening, at 8:00 p.m., you’ll board the La Paz–Uyuni tour bus (with seats that recline 160°) bound for the starting point of your adventure.
📍 Note: This tour can also start in Cusco. We’ll pick you up the day before at 9:00 PM to take the Cusco–Puno bus and then connect to La Paz.
- We'll arrive in Uyuni at 5:30 a.m., where we'll be waiting to take you to a local café for breakfast and to get ready for the tour (which starts at approximately 9:30 a.m.).

- After an unforgettable experience, we’ll head to the place where you’ll be staying for the night.

- The tour ends around 6:00 p.m. in Uyuni.
- You can have dinner and then arrange your transfer to the terminal for the overnight trip back to La Paz.
- Alternative option: If you’d prefer to end your trip in San Pedro de Atacama (Chile), we can arrange for you to cross the border at 10:30 a.m. (please book in advance).
- Arrival in La Paz around 6:00 a.m., followed by an immediate connection to Puno.

During the tour, only cash in Bolivian bolivianos is accepted, as most communities do not have ATMs and do not accept credit cards or U.S. dollars. We recommend bringing small bills.

- Polarized sunglasses: a must-have for avoiding the intense glare off the salt flats.
- Sunscreen and lip balm: UV radiation is very strong in the highlands.
- Warm and thermal clothing: temperatures can drop to -10 °C at night.
- Gloves, a scarf, and thick socks: essentials for staying warm during the early morning hours.
- Hiking shoes or comfortable boots: ideal for walking on salt and rock surfaces.
- Reusable water bottle and energy snacks: such as nuts, chocolate, or cereal bars.
